Our airport representative will be on standby at the arrival gate of Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu to pick you up upon your arrival. They will transfer you to a 3-star hotel in the tourist center of Kathmandu, Thamel. After checking in to your hotel, you can either rest or go for a stroll down the street. It is a good time to buy any remaining trekking gear, as the streets of Thamel are full of them. Kill your jet lag over the night because you're up for the adventure the very next day.

    Max. Altitude: 1350m/4430ft

    Transportation: Private Vehicles

    Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel

After having the complimentary breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu, we will drive you to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu Airport for your flight to Pokhara. You will be introduced to your guide either in Kathmandu or Pokhara. Then we take a 1 hour and 15 minutes taxi drive to Nayapul and start trekking to Jhinu Dada. It is an easy hike for the first day. You'll walk on an almost flat surface for 4/5 hours.

After breakfast at the lodge where we stayed, we start our trek to Bamboo. It will be an uphill ascend from Jhinu to Chomrong, and the trekking trail descends on a stone stairway for the first one and a half hours before you cross the Chhomrong Khola on a suspension bridge. High above the Modi Khola on its west, the trail passes through Bamboo, Rhododendron, and oak forests. We then climb a rocky path to reach Sinuwa at 2350m. The trail then gently passes through the forest before descending on a long, steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests to finally reach Bamboo.

    Max. Altitude: 2,310m/7,579ft

    Walking Hours: 5-6 hours

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

    Walking Distance: 12km/7.5mi

    Elevation Gain: 530/1,739ft

    Accommodation: Mountain Lodge

After breakfast, we begin the 4th day of our ABC 10 days trek with a gentle ascend from bamboo forests with varieties of Rhododendron and oak trees. The trail steeply ascends to Hinko Cave (3160 m), named so because it's a huge overhanging rock that protects against rain and avalanches. It takes approximately 25 minutes from Hinko Cave through a naturally ascending path to reach Deurali, where you have dinner and stay the night.

    Max. Altitude: 3,230m/10,597ft

    Walking Hours: 4-5 hours

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    Walking Distance: 10km/6.2mi

    Elevation Gain: 920m/3,018ft

    Accommodation: Mountain Lodge

After a short trek from Deurali, we will be at Bagar (3310 m), a green meadow with some abandoned hotels. The trail follows the left side of the valley for a while. Now the trail gently ascends until Machhapuchare Base Camp (3820 m), where we enjoy some of the best landscapes in our journey. You will enjoy the breath-taking view of Mount Hiunchuli (6441 m), Annapurna South (7229 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Gangapurna (7454 m) and Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997 m). After walking on the alpine meadows for some distance, our trail goes slightly up. A short hike after that leads us to our destination, Annapurna Base Camp. Explore the place as much as you can before it gets dark. You will enjoy a delicious Nepalese dinner at the base of the world's 10th-highest peaks before you get cozy in your bed.

    Max. Altitude: 4,130m/13,550ft

    Walking Hours: 4-5 hours

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    Walking Distance: 8km/5mi

    Elevation Gain: 900m/2,952ft

    Accommodation: Mountain Lodge

We wake up to the golden hues of a stunning Himalayan sunrise over Mt. Annapurna. After enjoying the view and having breakfast, we begin our return journey on the same trail. It is only a 5-hour hike down to reach Dovan. Since descending is relatively easier, reaching Sinuwa from Annapurna Base Camp on the same day is possible. However, fatigue may cause wobbling legs, so we keep the descent shorter and easier for today.

    Max. Altitude: 2,500m/8,202ft

    Walking Hours: 6-7 hours

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    Walking Distance: 16km/9.9mi

    Accommodation: Mountain Lodge

After a delicious breakfast at Dovan, we hike back the same route until Chhomrong. This is where we spend the night before heading to Ghandruk the next day.

    Max. Altitude: 2,140m/7,021ft

    Walking Hours: 5-6 hours

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    Walking Distance: 12km/7.5mi

    Accommodation: Mountain Lodge

From Chhomrong, we take a different route leading us to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk instead of retracing the same trail. After breakfast, we descend to Kimrong Khola and ascend to Kimrong Danda. A few more hours of hiking bring us to Ghandruk - a picturesque traditional Gurung settlement and model village within the Annapurna Conservation Area. You can go for a village walk, visit the local museum, or even rent traditional Gurung costumes for photographs.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Today marks the final trekking day of our 10-day Annapurna Base Camp adventure. It is an easy downhill hike through rice fields and local villages to Syauli Bazaar. The trek then flattens until Nayapul, where we catch a vehicle to Pokhara. A short flight from Pokhara brings us back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. In the evening, let's celebrate the successful completion of the trek together with a farewell dinner.

Guide, Porter, and Trek Permits

Yes, hiring a guide is an integral part of a successful trek, even if you have previous trek experience. A guide\'s expertise will help create alternative plans and arrangements for unexpected occurrences.

Our guide and staff speak English; their speaking skills are based on field experiences rather than formal education. Even though they are not as fluent as native English speakers, they will be able to communicate effectively.

Hiring a porter(helper) is beneficial as they will be responsible for your luggage. This will allow you to hike freely without physically straining yourself. A porter(helper) will carry a maximum weight limit of 22 kg for every two travelers. If the weight limit exceeds, you will be charged accordingly.

Tipping is an act of expressing gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the guide and porter(helper). We suggest tipping based on the number of participants in a group and consider allocating at least 10% of the tip for every traveler.

You will need a Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit (NPR 3300), TIMS (Trekkers\' Information Management System) (NPR 2000), and a Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit, which costs NPR 3,000 per head for the trek. We will arrange these documents on your behalf.
