A Path2Asia representative will await you outside the international airport terminal. After you finish all the airport formalities, the Path2Asia representative will pick you up from the airport terminal and transfer you to your hotel. Please look for someone holding a sign bearing your name at the terminal. They will greet you and then assist you with transportation to your reserved accommodation in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and escort you on an exhilarating flight to Lukla. The flight to Lukla is operated early in the morning due to unpredictable weather conditions during the day. The scenic flight to Lukla is an extraordinary adventure above the lush hills, snow-capped mountains, and beautiful village settlements. After a short 35-minute flight, you will arrive at Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla, one of the most thrilling airports in the world. Upon your arrival, you will meet porters at the airport who will help you with your luggage and equipment. After getting ready, the tour guide will lead you down the crowded street to begin the descent to Phakding. From Lukla, we travel along the Dudh Koshi to Phakding through pine and cedar forests. This journey involves trekking at high altitudes, but the experience is breathtaking. It takes about 4 hours to reach Phakding. Overnight stay at Phakding.

You will begin your trek after breakfast at Phakding. Although the ascent is challenging, the breathtaking views and fresh air will motivate you. We’ll make several stops along the way to enjoy the scenery. On the way to Monjo, you’ll arrive at Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to rare plants and animals. Before reaching Namche, you will pass through Sherpa villages such as Monjo and Jorsale. Namche Bazaar is the main trading hub and gateway to Everest. If you have forgotten to pack anything, you can buy it here. The town has cafes, inns, ATMs, and a lively market welcoming trekkers from all around the world.

To help your body adapt to high altitude, we have allocated an acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar. Staying active helps acclimatization, so your guide will take you on short hikes to the Sherpa Museum or Everest View Point. You'll hike to the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest-altitude hotels in the world, to admire the Himalayas - including Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, and Lhotse. You can also visit the local school founded by Sir Edmund Hillary in Khumjung village. After exploring, return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

After breakfast, we take the trail from Namche to Tengboche - one of the most scenic sections of the Everest Base Camp trail. We descend to Phungi Thanga and then climb gradually to Tengboche. The view along the way is incredible, with Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Lhotse standing tall around you. Tengboche is the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. You can visit Tengboche Monastery, a revered Buddhist site that offers panoramic views of the mountains. Overnight stay at Tengboche.

After breakfast, continue your trek through lush valleys with stunning views of the Himalayas. You'll cross the Imja River and pass through Pangboche village, known for its monastery and magnificent mountain views. As we approach Dingboche (4,410m), you'll start to feel the altitude. Stay hydrated and take it slow. Our guide will check your oxygen level using an oximeter. If any altitude symptoms appear, we'll adjust the pace. After about 6 hours of trekking, we reach Dingboche and rest overnight.

Today is another acclimatization day. After breakfast, we hike to Nagerjun Hill (5,100m) for panoramic views of Lobuche, Nuptse, and Thamserku. The breathtaking view of the icy landscapes and massive peaks will leave you in awe. After the hike, we return to Dingboche to explore the village and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight at Dingboche.

We continue our trek to Lobuche. The trail passes through Thukla and the memorials at Thukla Pass dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The route offers views of Cholatse and Taboche peaks. We reach Lobuche after about 6-7 hours and stay overnight at a local lodge.

Today is the day you've been waiting for! After breakfast, we trek to Gorakshep (5,100m), where we leave our heavy luggage before heading to Everest Base Camp. The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier, with ice formations and glacial ponds along the way. After several hours of trekking, we finally reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Take pictures, celebrate your achievement, and soak in the incredible atmosphere. Afterward, we return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, we hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m), the highest point of the trek. Watch the sunrise over Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse as the golden light hits the peaks. It's one of the most unforgettable moments of the journey. After spending some time taking photos, we descend back to Gorakshep and continue down to Pheriche. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

Upper Body / Head

You will need good coverage from the sun, dust, and cold.

General Info

You will require a passport valid for 6 months from entry, a copy of travel insurance and flight tickets, and two passport-sized photos.

After you make the deposit, you will need to provide details like your arrival and departure date. Our staff members will then brief you with additional information related to the trek.

We advise booking your arrival and departure flights in advance for smooth travel. It is also recommended that you add a day or two additional days during your intended stay in case of flight cancellations or delays. Please be aware that we will not be responsible for any inconvenience related to international flights.

There are no hidden costs or fees if you travel solo. However, you will be charged accordingly if you don\'t want to join a group and would rather book a private trip.

The EBC Luxury Trek cost can range from USD 800 to USD 5000, depending on the itinerary, package, and service included.

Guide, Porter, and Trek Permits

Yes, hiring a guide is an integral part of a successful trek, even if you have previous trek experience. A guide\'s expertise will help create alternative plans and arrangements for unexpected occurrences.

Our guide and staff speak English; their speaking skills are based on field experiences rather than formal education. Even though they are not as fluent as native English speakers, they will be able to communicate effectively.

Hiring a porter(helper) is beneficial as they will be responsible for your luggage. This will allow you to hike freely without physically straining yourself. A porter(helper) will carry a maximum weight limit of 22 kg for every two travelers. If the weight limit exceeds, you will be charged accordingly.

Tipping is an act of expressing gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the guide and porter(helper). We suggest tipping based on the number of participants in a group and consider allocating at least 10% of the tip for every traveler.

You will need a Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit (NPR 3300), TIMS (Trekkers\' Information Management System) (NPR 2000), and a Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit, which costs NPR 3,000 per head for the trek. We will arrange these documents on your behalf.
